What the ticket covers
The Museum&Tour is the standard ticket, and it goes well beyond the stands. The route takes you into areas normally closed to the public: the AC Milan and Inter dressing rooms, the mixed zone, the tunnel out to the pitch, pitchside and the team benches. Then you head up to the museum: shirts, trophies, memorabilia, models and big screens. Staff are posted along the route; the museum part is self-paced.
Allow about an hour. There's a café at the museum, but no eating in the galleries.
| Museum&Tour ticket | Price |
|---|---|
| Adult | €37 |
| Reduced (under 14, over 65, companion of a disabled visitor, unaccompanied disabled visitor) | €27 |
| Children up to and including 5 | free |
Reductions are by age, not nationality, and ID may be checked at the door. Disabled visitors who can't do the tour on their own go free with a companion who pays the reduced rate.
Official box office, gate, or reseller
The stadium's online box office is run by Fever; the "Tickets" button on sansirostadium.com goes there. You pick a date and time slot, and the ticket arrives by email; just show it on your phone. Plans change? Online tickets can be moved to another date or time up to 48 hours before, if there's space. Refunds aren't offered.
The box office at the museum entrance also sells same-day tickets.
Where resellers help:
- A real guide. The standard ticket includes no guide and no audio guide (the stadium arranges private guides on request by email). GetYourGuide and Headout sell guided tours, including small-group ones; check the tour language on the product page.
- Transport. Some packages bundle the sightseeing bus out to the stadium.
Tiqets sells a timed entry ticket too. Compare it with the official price before you choose.
Match days: the thing that ruins visits
San Siro is home to both AC Milan and Inter, so there's a game most weeks, often midweek too with European fixtures. On match or concert days the tour closes early or stays shut, and the route can change. The official site has an opening calendar marking "reduced hours" or "closed" day by day. Check it before you buy, not after.
Simple fix: pick a day without a home game. If you can't, go in the morning. On reduced-hours days the box office still opens at 9am and shuts in late morning or around lunchtime.
The Skywalk on the roof
The newer add-on is the Skywalk: a guided walk along the red roof girders, about 55 metres up, with views over the city and, on clear days, as far as the Alps. It takes about half an hour, starts from Gate 6 and needs a separate ticket, also sold as a discounted combo with the Museum&Tour.
Conditions are strict: age 7 and up, closed shoes with rubber soles (no sandals or heels), no bags on the walkway. It's not for anyone with vertigo or reduced mobility, or past the 24th week of pregnancy. Heavy rain or strong wind suspends it, with a full refund. The Skywalk runs March to October; in winter there's just the classic tour.
Getting there
The stadium is on Piazzale Angelo Moratti and the tour entrance is at Gate 6. The easy way is metro M5 (lilac) to San Siro Stadio. From Milano Centrale take M2 towards Abbiategrasso/Assago, change at Garibaldi FS and continue on M5. Coming from Malpensa, ride the Malpensa Express to Cadorna, then M2 to Garibaldi and M5. Tram 16 and bus 49 also stop at the stadium.
Driving? The stadium's paid car park is open to tour visitors during opening hours. Don't park on the surrounding streets: they're residents-only and you risk a fine and a tow.
Hours: every day 9:30am–5pm November to March and 9:30am–6pm April to October, with ticket office and entry closing at closing time.
