How tickets work
The museum is at Lamborghini's headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese, and Lamborghini's site sends you to Ticketlandia for tickets and bookings. Prices aren't published on lamborghini.com, so you'll see them at checkout.
The rule that catches people out is in the museum's access regulations: you enter at the ticket desk at your scheduled time, and lateness can mean losing the visit with no refund. Sant'Agata is a drive from Bologna on country roads, so give yourself a buffer. Tiqets, GetYourGuide and Headout sell entry with their own cancellation terms, which can help if your plans are loose.
Museum only, or the factory too
The museum covers Lamborghini from the Miura and Countach to the hybrid Sián and Countach LPI 800-4, with one-offs like the Veneno and Centenario, plus a driving simulator.
The production-line tour is the big upgrade. It's guided, starts from the museum and has to be booked. No photos or video in the factory, full stop: phones and cameras are locked away before you set off. If your main goal is pictures of cars, the museum alone is enough. If you want to watch a car being put together, pay for the tour.
Don't confuse it with the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum, a separate museum about the founder that appears in some reseller combos.
Hours, ID and access
Open daily from 9:30, closing at 18:00 (October–April) or 19:00 (May–September), last entry an hour before closing. Bring ID if you're claiming a reduction: staff can ask for it. The upper exhibition floor is currently stairs-only.
Pairing it with Ferrari or Ducati
Sant'Agata sits between Bologna and Modena, so it pairs naturally with the Ferrari Museum in Maranello or the Ducati Museum in Bologna's Borgo Panigale district. Without a car, a Motor Valley day tour from Bologna is the realistic option; the Lamborghini + Ferrari combos sold by resellers are handy if you want one purchase for the whole day.
