All tickets online

Reseller prices are refreshed daily; the final price is the one on the partner's site. Resellers cost more than the official ticket because they add availability, free cancellation or services.

Prices and what's included

One price list: €25 for adults at the desk (from €21.50 online), €20 for children between 100 and 140 cm and over-65s (from €19 online). Children under 1 metre and visitors with 100% disability go free. Reductions are based on height and age, not nationality.

The ticket covers five routes: the Blue, Green and Yellow aquarium routes, the Giant Insects XXL exhibition and the outdoor World of Dinosaurs. The dinosaur park closes from October until the spring reopening, so in winter you pay the same and get one route fewer.

For €5 more, bought at the desk on the day, you can come back for a second day of your choice in the season.

When to go

The aquarium opens on a calendar. Between late October and January the public days are:

Low-season hours are 10:00–18:30, but the ticket desk closes at 16:30 and last entry to the Blue route is 17:00. If you arrive at 16:00 you'll get in, but you won't see everything: the aquarium itself reckons on 2–4 hours.

Official site or resellers

The official online price is the lowest. Tiqets sells a ticket it calls "Fast Track" and an entry + lunch option; GetYourGuide sells plain entry. The main reasons to book with them are cancellation terms and, with the lunch ticket, having the meal sorted.

Getting there

The aquarium is at Piazzale delle Nazioni 1/A, on Cattolica's seafront where it meets Portoverde. By train, get off at Cattolica and take bus 125 to stop 71. From Rimini, bus 11 to Riccione (Piazzale Curiel), then bus 125. Driving, leave the A14 at Cattolica; the aquarium suggests typing "via Francia" into your satnav. Payment by card is accepted at the ticket desk, shops and food outlets.

Do I need to book?

No. You can buy at the desk, but online is cheaper and an unused ticket is valid on any opening day in the calendar.

Can I leave and come back the same day?

Yes. Ask a member of staff as you leave so you don't have to pay again.

How do I get to the aquarium from Rimini?

Take bus 11 from Rimini to Riccione (Piazzale Curiel), then bus 125 to stop 71 "Acquario di Cattolica". From Cattolica train station it's bus 125 directly.
